KYP Leaders

Leadership Team:

Trish Tierny

Trish has seen a void in our county’s network that specifically targets this age group, and is excited about getting the Kitsap County Young Professionals off to a flying start. She believes that all of the slated members of the leadership team for Young Professionals are truly in the roles for which they are best suited, and is thrilled about the idea of serving as Vice-President.

Gloria Devin

Gloria holds the belief that people are our most valuable resource and when you invest in people you change the world. She sees the Young Professionals Group as a place to connect, to have a voice and an avenue to be involved in positive change in our community. She holds an excitement about the opportunity to be a resource to connect, inspire and develop the young talent of our region.

Gretchen Ritter

As a new transplant to Kitsap County, Gretchen joined the KYP to meet new people, make new friends, and network with fellow professionals. She quickly fell in love with everything that Kitsap has to offer from the small community to the rich landscape & she hopes to be able to reach out and share with other young professionals all of the potential that exists right here in our own backyard.

David Houston Clarke

David moved to Poulsbo after graduating from Washington State University in 2012 to start his career. Through his own experience, he believes the Kitsap Young Professionals offers new transplants to Kitsap the opportunity to establish themselves more meaningfully in the community and make strong connections with like-minded individuals throughout the county. David joined the board shortly after finding the KYP with an interest in promoting membership growth and thoughtful programming. He is inspired by his fellow board members’ community stewardship and looks forward to emulating their commitment to Kitsap.

Kristine Berg

Kristine is the adult services librarian at the Library in Port Orchard. When she isn’t helping others finding something to read, leading KRL’s weekly walking club or craft programs in the Library, or connecting people to community resources, she can be found knitting, listening to audiobooks (they count as reading!), or trying out a new restaurant.
